April 11, 2023It was supposed to be “like new” but had missing parts.I needed a new boat wench and this one said only the packaging was damaged. It was a few dollars less and next day delivery, which was good, so I ordered it. When it arrived there was a new looking wench in the box but didn’t come with the cranking handle. The description says a handle is included. So I used the handle off my old one. It’s sad that the product was “inspected by Amazon” but apparently wasn’t. Proceed with caution on Amazon “like new” items. You may not get what you are paying for.

March 13, 2023Definitely had been returned and taped.The product worked as expected and was easy to install. The teeth if the old winch on this Ttacker boat were shot so I ordered this as a replacement. Bolt patterns lined up perfectly and it literally took me 10 minutes to install.I give it 3 stats because it was obviously a return. The box had been torn and “repaired” with scotch tape. Fortunately, there weren’t a lot of pieces or they would have been lost.Don’t advertise as new and sell returns. Be truthful in your description.
